Vilamoura is probably Europe's largest holiday resort based on the southern coast of Portugal in the Algarve.

The resort itself is based around an internationally renowned marina as well as three superb golf courses.

Within the resort there are a wealth of restaurants, shops, bars, a casino and a host of attractions to visit.

Built on the site of an ancient Roman villa, Vilamoura and the surrounding countryside is steeped in history and beautiful local architecture.

The beaches are the loveliest and longest in the Algarve and clean golden sand stretches from east to west as far as the eye can see. 

Apart from the amazing golf courses, Vilamoura and its surrounding areas have many sporting activities for you to enjoy.

Aerobics, Horse Riding, Badminton, Jet Skiing, Water Skiing, Parascending, Lawn Bowls, Tennis, Squash, Olympic Skeet Shooting, Big Game Fishing and Jogging Trails are just some of the activities catered for whilst just down the road there is a Water Park.
